Why not make a change and become a councillor? It’s election time at Evenley Parish Council!

Expressions of interest are welcomed from anyone who is over 18 years old (elections are a legal requirement and held normally every four years in our Parish).

If you would like to get more involved in your community please read on …….

Parish council elections will be held on 6th May 2021. If you are passionate about your community and would like to have a greater say in what goes on, then why not become a parish councillor? We need people from all backgrounds and experiences who reflect their community to put themselves forward – could this be you?

As a councillor representing Evenley, you will help keep it a great place to live and work. You will be supported in your role and will receive ‘new councillor’ training. You should be comfortable working electronically and have a positive outlook and a ‘can do’ attitude and be willing to work as part of a team.

For more information, follow this LINK where you’ll find everything you need to know, including an explanation on what local councils and councillors do, how you can become a councillor and details of the role. If you would like to speak to the clerk or a councillor about joining the council, please email Cathy Knott at clerk@evenleypc.org.uk

We look forward to hearing from you!
